New safety proportional valves /K certified

Atos is the unique worldwide manufacturer offering a full range of digital proportionals for functional safety, certified in compliance to IEC 61508 up to SIL 2 / SIL 3 and ISO 13849 up to category 4, PL e for redundant architecture.

The safety proportionals family will be soon enlarged with the introduction of the new /K option performing safety functions through on/off signals. Upon a valve disable command from the machine control unit, the driver internal circuit checks the spool position and send back an acknowledgement signal to confirm that the valve is in safe conditions.

Safety valves with /K option will available from the end ofQ1/2019.

ON-OFF safety valves certified by 

The new certificate for on-off safety valves FV, FI, FC has been released by the TÜV. Respect the previous certificate, this new document adds the performance level classification as indicated by the machinery directive 2006/42/EC, according to ISO 13849 up to category 1, PL c for non-redundant architecture.

Bluetooth adapter for digital proportionals

Bluetooth adapter for digital proportionals is now available for European and North American market. It is an alternative to the USB cable connection, to permit wireless communication between PC and digital valves.

This tool facilitate the connection to the PC when the valves are difficult to be directly reached with a cable or in case of environment with a high level of electrical noise, since it has stronger immunity to EMC disturbances respect USB cable.

PED valves up to 420 bar certified by

The range of PED valves will be extended up to 420 bar max pressure; the new certificate will also include /BT option for low temperature executions of 420 bar PED valves.

New PED valves will be available in Q4/2018, since certification is in progress.

CART-M-5 and CART ARE-20 max pressure remains unchanged as per current certification.

New SC LIR leak-free cartridges.

New SC LIR leak-free cartridges

The new leak-free cartridges complete the range of high pressure & flow SC LI cartridges s40 and functional covers s50, that are meeting strong success in the market!

New SC LIR cartridges, with increased 420 bar max pressure, grant mechanical interchangeability versus SH LIR. They are designed for applications requiring leak-free features, particularly appreciated in applications with vertical loads or with long non-operating phases. Technical table TH030

New flexible logic for P/Q digital proportionals

Starting from November 2018, digital directional proportionals & axis controllers with P/Q control will be equipped with a new logic, even more robust and flexible.

This logic introduces new features and allows to modify flow/force switching criteria for each one of the 4 dynamic configurations, in order to best suit any application.

Digital proportionals and axis controllers with /SP, /SF, /SL options, equipped with new logic are fully interchangeable with current ones, since their default setting let the valves perform exactly as the present P/Q logic.

The new logic can also be installed on P/Q valves and controllers currently on the field, through a firmware update available for on-board s40 & BM off-board s10 electronics.
